Horse Racing Could Get More Public Funding – Act Now!

There is a bill in the WA Legislature that if passed would allocate an annual $6 million dollar subsidy to pay for the yearly operating expenses of the Washington Horse Racing Commission. Any left over money would be used as grants to fund horse-related “recreational” activities. No money is set aside for abused or injured horses.

We don’t want to fund the horse racing industry!

Sign in here as “CON” to SB 5598 by Wednesday, Feb 22nd @ 12:30 PM!

Have a few more minutes? Provide written testimony opposing this bill here.
