You know NARN as a small but scrappy, long-standing organization who continuously speaks up for those who have no voice through NARN’s numerous campaigns. This past year, NARN stopped Washington’s Spring Bear hunt proposal two different times, and advocated for wolves, cougars, orcas, gray whales, and other wildlife at dozens of public hearings.
NARN re-launched our efforts to close the UW Primate Center here in Seattle, and we’ve been protesting monthly outside the Lab where we are able to reach hundreds of UW students and members of the public who are repulsed to learn of the shady research conducted there.
NARN continues our vegan outreach for the billions of animals denied basic rights and killed for human purpose and profit, and in February, NARN co-hosted our first and on-going Legislative Lobby Day which helped pass the Plant-Based Proviso which allows plant-based meal options to every student in Washington!
Right now, NARN is powered by one staff-person and a 100% all-volunteer Board. NARN is asking you to help grow our capacity to help animals, and to have your voice amplified by joining or renewing your support for the Northwest’s largest grassroots animal rights organization!
