Wolf Advisory Group Meeting

The WDFW’s Wolf Advisory Group (WAG) is meeting Nov 19th and 20th to discuss several policy proposals that have the potential to adversely impact wolves in Washington State.  The WAG is tasked with recommending strategies for reducing conflicts with wolves outlined in the state’s Wolf Conservation and Management Plan. See the WDFW website here for more information.

The WAG sets aside time to listen to members of the public, and it is VITALITY important that they hear from folks that care about wolves.  Right now, most of the input they receive is from livestock producers upset that they have to share their land with wolves.
You can listen to the meeting over zoom, and comment over zoom.  Please consider taking the time on either day to advocate for wildlife in Washington State, and let the WAG members know that you value wolves, and don’t want to see them killed just to appease livestock producers.Agenda will be posted soon, but in the meantime, please get this on your calendar!
