Tell Century 21 Department Store To Drop Animal Fur

Century 21 Department Store, a leading New York-area retailer, was recently discovered in an HSUS undercover investigation violating state and federal law by selling real raccoon dog and rabbit fur garments marked “faux fur,” including several by well-known designer, Marc Jacobs. Millions of animals are killed every year for their fur,  many of them skinned alive.  (I could post a video here, but it is one of the most terrible things I have ever seen.) There are so many warm and fashionable alternatives to fur nowadays, there is NO REASON to wear fur and none for Century 21 to sell it.  Please either call them at 1-877-350-2121 and ask them to say no to the fur trade, or email them and tell them.  THESE ACTIONS BY CONSUMERS WORK!!

About Franziska

I've been a vegetarian for almost 30 years now, since adopting my first dog, and vegan for more than 10. Why? The simplest and truest answer is that I love animals, and knowing what happens to them just to satisfy selfish human desires makes consuming any animal products impossible. I am a NARN Board member because its goals, beliefs, and ethics are mine, and because nothing is ever done that doesn't have only the animals at heart. There are no politics, no factions, no arguments, no personal motives. As for my favorite quote, it is beyond a doubt Ralph Waldo Emerson's "The purpose of life is not to be happy. The purpose of life is to be useful. To be useful, compassionate, honorable, and to have it matter that you lived."
